16a were commisioned to design a new build house for a client with a plot of land in dale gardens, heswall, wirral. nestled within a woodland setting, a brick plinth creates private spaces within the subterranean space.

a glazed living space sits above the landscape connecting the main spaces of the house with it’s woodland surroundings.
